Nuclear Medicine Centre: This centre is within the campus in the southern part of the hospital building.The centre is headed by a director supported by some medical officers, scientific officers and other staffs. It is run by Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and provides facilities to diagnose various diseases by computerized gamma camera, renogram, thyroid uptake system, radio immunoassay and ultrasonography. Some diseases e.g, pterigium, thyrotoxicosis etc. are being treated by radio-nucleotides. Recently facilities of SPEC( single photo emmission computed topography Gamma camera, BMD( bone mineral densiometer)- DEXA (DUAL ENERGY X-RAY absorptiometry) have been introduced.
It is situated within the campus to the east of nuclear medicine center. It is 20 beded and is run by full time clinical tutors under the supervision of a senior consultant of midwifery. It has an operation theator for vasectomy and tubectomy. Moreover,there is an another institution called RH-STEP (MR clinic) attached with model family planning building where menstrual regulation and other family planning services are provided. This is administered by the departmental head of Gynae and Obstetrics.
New building for the department of dentistry is going be inaugurated shortly as 'dental unit' in the space between hospital building and college building and will be equipped with modern instruments and facilities.
The school is functioning temporarily in rooms of medical college allocated for other purposes. A new building for the school is under construction and will be completed shortly at the north of the old school building.The Principal of Rangpur Medical College is the chairman of the school committee.

The Nursing Training Institute is conducting a 4 years course leading to diploma in nursing. The institute is run by a full time principal and six senior sister tutors in addition to guest lectures from different departments of medical college.
The current diploma course will be discontinued from the next session( 2009-2010) and will be replaced by a separate BSC nursing course of four years with pure science students in a new nursing college building ( already constructed)
